Lakeside Specialized Transportation was born in 1980 as a 1-truck tow company. Founded and operated by Jim Fernhoff, we have gone from 1 tow truck, to a fleet of over 100 vehicles, with more on the way every day. Our philosophy is quite simple: do whatever it takes to take care of our customers. Easy to say. Not as easy to pull off. As our customer list will attest to, we take great care and pride in every job we take on.

Pride in our work and our business runs from top to bottom as you will see...everything is first class. From our people, to our locations, to our magnificent fleet of vehicles, at your service, we really are second to none. Not many trucking companies spend near as much time on maintenance, appearance, and quality of their fleet. At LST, it is this attention to detail that we feel separates us from our competition. You will never see an LST truck dirty, unpolished, or unmaintained...that's why we run our own service department and mobile service trucks.

As we look forward, we are continuing to expand our fleet (at the rate of 10-15 trucks a year) and our locations nationally. Our new office in Ogden, Utah is the first of many planned expansions here at LST. No matter how big we get, or how far we cover, our owners philosophy will remain at the forefront of the business. We earn and keep our customers one job at a time.
